Cross gen titles in the first year have always been a thing throughout the history of gaming. People either too young or with short memories wouldn't know that I guess.
He's looking for his crossbow.
No. It'll be The Witcher 3 of this generation.
I wish they just sold cases.
The console companies have nothing to gain doing this. They want groups of friends buying the same box.
It's why I waited/am waiting for GTAV for PC. As I can know with confidence that it will be modded all the way until GTAVI.
There is so much that is bogus about that foxweekly article.
"There are a ton of games that within 12 months"
You mean like 2, not a ton.
And for PC, yes.
ThatOneGuyThere, your dismissing the fact that you brought up the biggest of all lies about PC gaming. That you 'have to upgrade every year.' You're either full of it, or doing something horribly wrong. Or are one of those OCD weirdos that thinks like this:
Damn, this game gives 55 fps on Ultra. Time to upgrade!
Aliens vs Predator 2
"well, a lot of people like myself are finally getting tired of upgrading their PCs every damn year."
No one does that, nor do you have to. Only people that do are just that wealthy. But it's generally unnecessary. My PC is a 2010/2011 build and still runs everything great.
PS4 has a pretty limited library atm/Most PC users hate Origin/PC users are picky and unforgiving, as it should be. Once it got out that BF4 was crap on PC, people stopped buying it. AS IT SHOULD BE.
Exactly. Difference here is Valve actually has the community involved so we are seeing the changes with this as opposed to secretive console companies.
At least the game is back to Japan where it belongs. SH went to crap once it stopped being made there. American horror has sucked for a long time. I would imagine this is also a creative breath of fresh air for Kojima.
The demo looked pretty damn scary. That's some of the eeriest stuff I've seen in a game, if not the most eerie.
I'm not gonna lie, it took a friend back in the day to help me figure out the piano thing. I hated the game at the time because of that!
lol, you should look it up in a guide, you're depriving yourself of the rest of the game.
SH2 had more than 'horror', it had a deeper horror. Deep, depressing melancholy in a lonely purgatory.
I still call it my favorite of all time even though I haven't played it in years. I still have the PS2 copy, but I have the rom which I'll be playing in 1080p next time.
It's only been in development for 3 years, and scheduled for release next year. That's an impressive dev cycle considering the scope of the project and the small size of the team.
This is nasty.
With PC, everything gets remastered when you do an upgrade. :)
